About Us

Hey! We’re Pete and Emilia. We live on the border of Brewerytown and Fairmount with our baby twin girls and our fiesty senior chihuahua, Chewy. Like many people, we spent the last few years very close to home, separated from family, friends, and neighbors during some of the most turbulent and troubling times we’ve known. We recognized our own deep need for joy, community, and connection, and our desire to create a place that would bring people of all ages and backgrounds together for a simple pleasure. After many months, Over the Moon Ice Cream was born! Why “Over the Moon”? Because we hope to foster a spirit of joy and jubilation — something we believe everyone deserves on a regular basis.
